This role is responsible for planning and coordinating preventive maintenance activities, managing work order processes, supporting facilities operations, and working closely with technical teams and external vendors to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.Key responsibilitiesMaintenance PlanningCollaborate with production teams to schedule equipment downtime and develop daily and weekly maintenance plansReview, prioritize, and approve work orders related to corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and tooling requirementsAssess job scopes with technical staff, procure required parts and materials, monitor progress, and reschedule incomplete work as neededDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance tasks within the CMMS, audit overdue work orders, and maintain accurate equipment asset recordsDistribute maintenance schedules and completion reports to operations and leadership teamsFacilitate safety meetings and support training initiatives related to maintenance activitiesParticipate in vendor selection and service contract negotiationsProvide cost estimates and analytics related to equipment history, downtime, labor, and material costs to production and engineering teamsFacilities PlanningCoordinate daily work assignments for facilities technicians, janitorial services, and lead handsSupport facility repairs, inspections, and cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with standardsDevelop and distribute facility maintenance schedules and review inspection checklistsSchedule contractors for urgent and planned facility work and assist with vendor contract negotiationsPrepare quarterly updates and annual facilities reports for managementSupport hiring processes by participating in interviews and requisition activitiesAudit facilities supplies and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintainedThe ideal candidate for this position will have:1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environmentProficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesKnowledge of occupational health and safety regulationsExperience coordinating vendors and contractorsRed Seal certification or a diploma or degree in a related field such as industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering technology is considered an assetShould this excellent opportunity interest you, please submit your resume, including salary expectations.Price Industries Limited hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity.
