Join us and immerse yourself in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment where you’ll make a real impact.PositionWe are looking for a Building Mechanical EIT to support the Buildings group in Vancouver with the design and drafting of building mechanical systems for an array of different building types in institutional, commercial and municipal infrastructure.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, modeling and drafting of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and HVAC control systems, using the latest versions of Revit and AutoCAD.Implementing redline markups from engineers.Working with engineers to ensure that all aspects of the design are coordinated with other disciplines.Design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.Occasional site visits to survey existing conditions and to document ongoing construction.Continued professional development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities.QualificationsUniversity degree in mechanical engineeringEntry level knowledge of Revit Building Systems and AutoCAD 2D2+ years experience as a Mechanical EIT working on Buildings projectsThe ability to adapt to and adhere to internal and external REVIT/CAD and design standardsRegistered (or eligible to register as) member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EBGC) or that of a recognized Professional Engineering Association in CanadaAvailable to work outside of the office on an occasional basisValid Canadian drivers licence with access to transportation for site reviews and inspectionsExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in the English languageWhy choose CIMA+?
