Current Senior Financial Analysts or Associate Finance Managers who demonstrate strong analytical skills, financial acumen, leadership potential, and a passion for driving results Associates who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact—living our values every day Associate Finance Manager responsibilities Act as the key business partner working directly with management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations and develop reports to drive the business Serve as an integral member in the monthly financial forecasting process Work closely with other finance groups to conduct financial studies and build forecast outlooks Apply creative problem solving to build new and supplemental reporting methods Prepare and present complex financial analyses in a meaningful, concise, and user-friendly manner for senior management Provide value-added financial analysis and advisory support to develop and execute strategic plans Provide thought leadership and recommendations for identifying and implementing process improvements Lead special projects / ad-hoc assignments as required Share and implement best practices within the team and wider finance group What you will need to be successful For internal candidates: must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+) Learning mindset and willingness to mentor new analysts and senior analysts 5 to 7 years of Financial Analyst/Financial business partner experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Excellent oral and written communication Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and financial modeling Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, with adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to workload management and professional development Flexible attitude and approach to business solutions Build strong relationships Comfortable presenting in front of small and large audiences Important note In our commitment to efficiency, consistency, and a fair hiring experience for all candidates, The Home Depot Canada uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to assist with the screening and assessment of applicants for this position.
