We’re growing and looking to add experienced Floor Covering Installers (NOC 73113) to our Halifax-based team. Responsibilities Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut, and fasten underlay or underpadding. Install carpet, vinyl, linoleum, hardwood, and other resilient floor coverings using the appropriate adhesives, seamers, rollers, stretchers, and tools. Repair, replace, or patch damaged flooring as needed. Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and materials required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and site safety requirements. Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet schedule and quality targets. Qualifications Strong knowledge of carpet, vinyl, rubber, hardwood, and other resilient flooring systems. Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and material data sheets. Must be comfortable using hand and power tools related to the trade. Reliable transportation. Red Seal endorsement considered a strong asset (voluntary in NS).
