OverviewAlgaeCal Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Development Lead to join the Dev team. This role focuses on leading a small team of intermediate/associate developers and delivering full stack solutions for our eCommerce platform.ResponsibilitiesLead a small team of 2-3 developers in planning, developing, testing, and deploying web applications.Develop across the full stack (frontend and backend) and maintain interfaces between systems such as Shopify, Salesforce, and WordPress.Design, implement, and deploy features for a range of applications, including WordPress templates and Shopify integrations.Collaborate with product and marketing to deliver value that supports bone health messaging and eCommerce goals.Follow best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability; work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Provide troubleshooting and bug resolution to maintain a high-quality codebase.Qualifications5+ years of software development experience with a proven ability to lead a small development team (2-3 intermediate/associate developers).Strong front-end and back-end skills with experience in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.Experience in the Shopify ecosystem (including Hydrogen and Shopify APIs); familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, BigQuery) is a plus.Experience integrating Node.js middleware between Shopify and Salesforce APIs (2+ years preferred).Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs and architectural concepts such as domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture.Portfolio demonstrating development mastery across relevant technologies.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.What you’ll earn & BenefitsBase salary range: CA$110,000.00–CA$120,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
