Clinical Informatics Analyst (RN) - Nursing Employer: Vancouver Coastal Health Location: Richmond Hospital, Richmond, BC Salary: CAD $41.42 – $55.91 per hour (hourly) Please apply online via the Vancouver Coastal Health Internal Career Portal. Responsibilities Support the day‑to‑day maintenance and management of clinical informatics systems and technologies used by staff and physicians. Champion integration of computer and communication technologies and clinical change initiatives that automate and/or enhance evidence‑based clinical practices, patient information access, and clinical documentation via the EHR in collaboration with clinical leaders, program managers, and staff. Support other Clinical Informatics Specialists and leadership, and work to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and sustainability of clinical initiatives that assist in the successful transition to a fully integrated EHR across VCH programs and services. Education & Experience Registered Nurse with current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a healthcare environment, including use of clinical technology, business (Office suite), clinical change management, and project leadership. Experience in system upgrades and implementations, willingness to travel within the VCH geographic area and work nights, weekends, or extended shifts as required. Previous experience in maternity level 2‑3 required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Designing, implementing and supporting clinical systems. Advanced computer skills with multiple applications relevant to the role. Clinical competency, practice standards of care, and evidence‑based practice integration. Policy and procedure development, clinical documentation standards, business process analysis, and reengineering. Knowledge of new trends in clinical practice and information systems. Project management practices, methodologies, and principles. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Effective problem‑solving techniques. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Change‑management orientation and continuous improvement mindset. Research and evaluation skills.
