Sr. SME SAP FICO, S4 HANA, Group Reporting

OverviewThis role is for a highly experienced SAP professional with deep expertise in SAP ECC FICO, S/4HANA, and S/4 Group Reporting. The candidate will lead the design and delivery of complex finance transformation programs, translating strategic business goals into structured, scalable SAP solutions. The role requires a blend of technical mastery, business acumen, and project and stakeholder management.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design, detailed configuration, to-be process flows, and implementation with Agilent IT and implementation partners for SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance modules, including Group Reporting.Translate broad business strategies and programs into structured SAP business process flows.Serve as the functional/technical lead and Finance business process lead for finance-related SAP initiatives, partnering with Agilent IT and implementation partners.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and gather requirements, prototype solution designs for seamless integration across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PS) from a Finance perspective.Lead communication with IT to represent all Finance stakeholders and Finance and compliance requirements (including Finance Operations, Tax, Global Trade, FP&A, etc.).Drive data migration, cutover planning, and system testing for ECC to S/4 transitions.Lead Group Reporting and transition from legacy systems (Oracle EPM preferred) to S/4HANA Group Reporting. Develop and implement strategies for a successful Finance Transformation to S/4 Group Reporting.Lead Group Reporting integration with S/4HANA, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori Apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud.Resolve complex system and process design issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.Mentor junior teammates and lead project teams through the delivery lifecycle.Engage with senior stakeholders to align on priorities and build SAP solutions with business objectives, strategies, and KPIs.Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning and handling uncertainties and challenges.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP Finance (ECC and S/4HANA).SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting preferred.Proven experience in SAP FICO, S/4HANA, and Group Reporting, including SAP Analytics Cloud.Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.Demonstrated experience in leading global implementations and managing multi-geo teams.Skills & CompetenciesDeep functional and technical knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA.Proven experience in Group Reporting and transitioning from legacy systems (Oracle EPM) to S/4HANA Group Reporting.Consolidation knowledge including intercompany eliminations and currency translation; experience with data models, data monitor, consolidation monitor, and ownership tasks.Strong ability to interpret financial data and troubleshoot consolidation issues.Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex workflows.Experience leading S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, especially in Group Reporting and finance transformation contexts.Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with third-party integrations preferred.Familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.Additional DetailsThis job has a full-time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $126,913.00 - $208,218.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
