Job ID: 25-44092 Job Title: Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD 60-70/hour + HST Role Overview The Senior QA Specialist will support the Courts Digital Transformation (CDT) initiative, a major modernization program delivering an end-to-end digital justice solution. The role focuses on leading QA and testing activities across the SDLC to ensure high-quality delivery of court systems supporting e-filing, case management, document management, scheduling, and public portals. Required Tech Stack Microsoft DevOps / Azure DevOps (test management, defect tracking, version control) Web Services SharePoint HTML, JavaScript, VBScript SQL / Database querying COTS, SaaS, and Cloud-based applications Automated testing tools (asset) Roles & Responsibilities Lead and contribute to test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution Manage and schedule all testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and non-functional testing Execute and oversee manual and automated test cases Track, manage, and report defects, coordinating triage and resolution with project teams Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions Review functional and design specifications to identify test requirements and coverage Prepare and manage test data and perform database queries for validation Produce testing artifacts and test summary reports Collaborate with QA teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer throughout the engagement Must-Haves 8+ years of QA experience, including leading QA teams Strong experience with defect tracking and test management tools (preferably Microsoft DevOps) Hands‑on experience with SharePoint, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript Experience testing COTS, SaaS, and cloud applications Strong understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience coordinating testing activities with project managers and cross-functional teams Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Experience working with clients and technical teams to resolve defects and manage change requests As a certified minority‑owned business, Pride Global and its affiliates – including Russell Tobin, Pride Health, and Pride Now – are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
