Job DescriptionAs an RBC Private Banker you join a select team of seasoned professionals responsible for developing and delivering dedicated, highly personalized financial solutions to a well-heeled, distinctly wealthy international clientele. You manage a portfolio of households requiring sophisticated wealth retention and wealth management strategies on top of daily banking, credit, investment, and cash management solutions.ResponsibilitiesWork in a team environment with international clients focused on Asian markets, collaborating across RBC business silos domestically and internationally.Apply extensive business development experience for prospecting and lead generation to build new business.Provide unmatched relationship management, advice, solutions, and services to Ultra High-Net-Worth (UHNW) International Clients while complying with Cross-Border Rules and Regulations.Execute discovery process ensuring clear Source of Wealth, Source of Funds, and complete due diligence reference checks to manage reputational and country risks.Establish a performance plan to achieve revenue growth KPIs for acquiring new qualifying UHNW households.Develop and structure end-to-end solutions to address client needs effectively applying financial planning principles.Work independently to build a robust UHNW portfolio while maintaining quality portfolio review and new business cycle.Coach and mentor others, assist colleagues to meet client needs, and take on broader work and accountabilities as assigned.Maintain up-to-date skill sets and accreditation, keeping abreast of industry developments while adhering strictly to bank policies and legal requirements.Must HaveMinimum 5–7 years of managing a profitable portfolio of clients and/or Wealth Management experience.Recognized University Degree.Proven track record of sales success, business development, and effective relationship management.Strong working knowledge of Canadian banking, lending, and investment products.Ability to work independently to problem solve, resolve complex and ambiguous issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.Nice to HaveWorking knowledge of credit structuring and associated credit qualifying skills.Previous people management experience.MBA, CFA or equivalent designations.BenefitsA comprehensive Total Rewards Program including competitive compensation and flexible benefits.Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.Opportunities to make a difference and lasting impact.Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.Opportunities to build close relationships with clients.Job SkillsCommercial Acumen, Competitive Markets, Decision Making, Financial Regulation, Financial Services Industry, Group Problem Solving, Interpersonal Relationship Management, Investment Risk Management, Private Banking, Product Services.LocationVANCOUVER MAIN BRANCH (B), 1055 GEORGIA ST W, VANCOUVER, BC, Canada.Equal Opportunity StatementAt RBC, we believe an inclusive workplace that has diverse perspectives is core to our continued growth as one of the largest and most successful banks in the world.
