We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Cardiac Testing-ECG/Holter department.Under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Cardiology Technologist performs techniques relating to Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event recorders, pacemaker monitoring and other types of diagnostic cardiac equipment in accordance with the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health.University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest Acute Care facility within the Northern Health region and a hub for specialized health services. It is a teaching hospital and provides undergraduate physician training through the Northern Medical Program (UBC and UNBC), hosts residents in UBC’s Family Practice Residency Program, and serves as a clinical education site for nursing and health sciences students at UNBC, the College of New Caledonia, BCIT and other institutions. UHNBC has benefited from significant expansions and new equipment since 2001, including an expanded emergency room, updated ICU, a state-of-the-art maternal-child care centre, an MRI unit, and a cancer centre for Northern BC with radiation therapy. UHNBC is growing, with a new Acute Care Tower estimated to open in winter 2031.
