The program’s interdisciplinary design will drive leadership in citizenship, civic participation, the future of work, healthcare, and responsible use of advanced technologies, including AI. It focuses on both large and small‑ to mid‑size urban centres as key destinations for newcomers and settled immigrants.OpportunityThe Partnership Engagement Specialist will plan, create and coordinate partnership initiatives for the Bridging Divides program. The Specialist will support BD researchers in developing partnerships and new initiatives, organize campaign cultivation events, stewardship and recognition programs, and lead special projects related to business development and investor relations for Bridging Divides.ResponsibilitiesPlan, create, and coordinate partnership initiatives for Bridging Divides.Support BD researchers in developing partnerships and new initiatives.Plan and organize campaign cultivation events, stewardship, and recognition programs.Lead special projects related to business development and investor relations.Travel across Canada as required to attend events and meet partners.QualificationsCompletion of a post‑secondary degree in a related field.A minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership development, planning and organizing campaign cultivation events, and stewardship programs in a post‑secondary or research setting, in Canada or internationally.Previous experience or knowledge of the broader migration and refugee sector in Canada and/or internationally is an important asset.Knowledge of research methodologies to identify potential partners, funders and prospects.Effective communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Proficiency in technologies such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Skype.Planning and organizing skills.Additional InformationPosition Number(s): 20005317Reports To: Executive Director, Bridging DividesDepartment: Bridging Divides, OVPRIEmployee Group: OPSEUVacancy Type: TermWork Location: On‑Campus / In PersonStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: February 28, 2026 (with possibility of extension)Hours of Work: 36.25Grade: 11Salary Scale: $73,151.55 – $87,346.75Posting Date: June 16, 2025Application Close Date: November 11, 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
