We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Technical Sales advisor to join our talented sales team at Swift Components, and affiliated companies.Position: Technical Sales AdvisorIndustry: ManufacturingLocation: Cambridge, OntarioResponsibilities:· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing products and solutions, including their technical specifications and applications.· Identify potential clients and proactively approach them to promote our products and services, aiming to build and expand our customer base.· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.· Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and address any technical concerns.· Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products in the market.· Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to represent the company and generate new leads.· Prepare sales reports and forecasts, tracking your performance against set targets and goals.· Make sure all sales and product development are made to respect the customers needs and specifications.Requirements:· Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.· Strong technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly.· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.· Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.· A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.· Willingness to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other events as required.· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.· Ability to travel in the United StatesJoin our dynamic and innovative team, and be part of a group of companies that values talent, commitment, and growth.We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits package.If you have the drive to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment, we encourage you to apply.
