Operating within the construction and manufacturing industry, ATS Traffic requires a strong seasonal workforce during our peak season to deliver products and services to our customers. The successful HR Co‑op Student will be responsible for administering the full‑cycle recruitment process for these entry‑level positions for the 2026 season. If so, submit an application today Responsibilities This position will administer the full-cycle recruitment process for entry‑level and seasonal positions. Specific accountabilities include: Create and post job advertisements on UKG and external job boards. Review resumes and applications, select candidates and conduct preliminary phone interviews. Schedule and conduct interviews (virtually or in person) and debrief with the hiring manager. Perform reference checks for permanent entry‑level vacancies. Prepare offer letters and employment documentation, ensure all pre-employment requirements are complete prior to start date. Schedule pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, follow up with Cannamm on results. Prepare and deliver recruitment reports for leadership. Set up New Employee Orientation, coordinate with participating departments such as Health and Safety, Product Specialists, Technology, etc. Assist our HR Business Partner's with duties as required. Qualifications Applicants must be currently enrolled in a post secondary education program with a specialization in Human Resources, Industrial/Employee Relations, Law or a related field. Preference will be given to 3 rd and 4 th year students who have completed courses related to HR, recruitment, employee relations, and health and safety. Intermediate skill level in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to learn new software, specifically ATS Traffic’s HRIS program UKG.
