This position provides independent, objective assurance over the bank’s Global Treasury design and execution, supporting the Corporate Audit function and departmental initiatives. Job Description The Global Treasury Audit, Assistant Vice President will oversee audit engagements and lead teams through planning, assessments, testing, and reporting. The role requires strong auditing capabilities, deep knowledge of liquidity and interest‑rate risk management, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to Executive Management and regulators. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead a team of audit professionals for supervision, planning, and execution of complex audits in Global Treasury. Review audit workpapers to ensure alignment with internal standards and proper documentation of conclusions. Draft audit reports that clearly communicate overall conclusions, key risks, identified issues and their root causes, and impact on business strategy. Work in partnership with business area management to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that arise during the audit engagement. Escalate potential and identified issues to senior management timely and collaborate with business management to develop and negotiate solutions. Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with business management across the lines of defense, assisting them in understanding and implementing internal control principles. Identify, assess, and monitor risks related to the bank’s liquidity position and interest rate exposure in the banking book, analyzing internal processes against regulatory requirements. Demonstrate strong knowledge of liquidity risk sound business practices and regulatory expectations. Required Qualifications & Education 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, or Treasury/Risk roles. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. Advanced degree or certification (CPA, CIA, CFA) or equivalent. Prior experience working with regulators through examinations and/or issue validations. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with solid interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all organizational tiers. Skills & Attributes Ability to manage complexity, prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Detailed knowledge of key banking regulations (Reg YY, Reg WW, FR‑2052a, BCBS 248, etc.) and familiarity with relevant safety and soundness guidance for treasury and large banks. Highly seasoned professional understanding of internal liquidity stress testing, collateral management, intraday and cash‑flow forecasting monitoring. Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex ideas concisely and appropriately for senior executives.
