Job Opportunity

MFC Training is currently looking for both Certifying and Non-Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team in Moncton and Fredericton, NB

Our Operations

MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization, carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance and heavy maintenance checks. We maintain a fleet of Diamond DA20-C1, Cessna 172s, Piper Seminoles and King Air C90s in a flight training environment, providing a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of Aircraft Maintenance.

Shifts

5-4-5 schedule, 11.5 hours a day, with no overnight shifts, allowing for 2 weekends off every month. Every weekend off is a long weekend.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out and coordinating troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components including heavy maintenance
  • Reporting on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
  • Ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations
  • Coordinating parts requirements and ensuring sufficient tools and equipment are available
  • Administering safety practices and procedures
  • Completing work sheets for work accomplished
  • Reporting unserviceable maintenance equipment
  • And other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS

Preferred:

  • M1/M2 license or equivalent of 2 years of experience as AME is considered an asset
  • Experience on light piston and turboprop aircraft is an asset
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of successfully obtaining security clearances
