Career in Assurance Services Work with a team of professionals assisting individuals and businesses with a wide range of accounting and financial services Be part of a unique work culture that challenges you to further your professional development and enlarge your chosen career path Be part of a fast‑growing environment with locally renowned professionals Develop solutions with clients and co‑workers through collaborative effort and discussion Engage with clients on a variety of local and national projects Senior Accountant, Assurance (Audit) – Responsibilities Planning, preparing and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations Providing solutions to clients on current business and financial conditions Planning fieldwork assignments, including budget and resource needs Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns Qualifications CPA designation or near completion 2+ years of public practice audit experience Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting and tax Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in leading teams of professionals on diverse engagements Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and new technology tools Access to a vehicle is required Benefits Profit sharing, flex days, RRSP contributions, firm‑wide holiday closure, wellness benefits, concierge‑like benefits, and work from anywhere in Canada during the summer for 4 weeks.
