Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a growing fleet of aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our privately owned and operated fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS™, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air, CH47D Chinooks, and Sikorsky S-61 fire support platforms, we provide first class, rapid response delivery during critical events of wildfire activity. Due to the company’s continued growth, we are looking to add a Senior Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Team Leader to our team. Responsibilities How you’ll contribute to the mission; Conduct morning toolbox meetings to ensure the team is prepared for the day, laying out plans and delegating tasks as needed Liaise with management to ensure projects are planned and executed as scheduled, anticipating potential issues, and preparing accordingly Ensure staff and other resources are available as needed, so the schedule is not compromised Order parts and consumables as required Identify areas where staff training may be necessary and prepare recommendations to upper management Ensure work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner Oversee and manage staff attendance Participate in performance evaluations Work alongside the crew to perform sheet metal and composite repairs Other related tasks as needed Qualifications AME (S) license, however all levels of experience will be considered Previous Supervisory experience A passion to help others The ability to travel outside of Canada Effective and respectful communication with all levels of staff The ability to inspire and lead others Compensation for this position will be competitive with market rates and based on experience.
