Introduction Robertson is seeking a skilled Senior Recruiter- Technology to join our client. Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting from $40/hr Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid; Return to office going up to 4 days onsite Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities Customer Responsibilities Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to customer experience model Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches Maintain, analyse and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities Consult with hiring managers Promote brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networks Lead advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate Represent client in various recruitment functions as needed Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers Shareholder Responsibilities Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function Follow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidates Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank May lead special initiatives by representing the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expert Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR priorities Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues Experience & Qualification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources 8+ Years of Relevant Experience Workday knowledge Technology Recruitment Corporate Recruitment Experience Negotiation, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage one's time Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work related activities Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel ALL CANDIDATES MUST COMPLETE A CRIMINAL AND CREDIT CHECK AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS We use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist with screening and assessment.
