We encourage candidates who may fall outside the range to apply.About the Role: We are looking for a Branch Manager, Commercial Insurance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has sales experience and a proven record of delivering results, with the ability to motivate front-line staff and foster collaboration. Insurance is about people, not just things.What You’ll Do HereResponsible for all day-to-day team management of a group of Commercial Account Executives.Manage branch operations to achieve growth and profitability targets.Implement and monitor objectives related to commission revenue, policy count, accounts receivable, quality of books of business, and expenses.Communicate, implement, and monitor strategies to ensure goals are attained.Work with other Leaders to ensure the quality of services and sales meets standards.Collaboratively analyze and resolve quality, customer service, and sales issues to deliver on the Customer Value Proposition.Oversee staffing and leadership of the team; motivate staff to participate in company objectives and keep frontline staff informed of changes.Develop succession planning for key positions.Manage general administration of the team (IT, payroll, HR changes, etc.).Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and feedback and facilitate continuous learning and development of direct reports.Support marketing and advertising initiatives and sales trade shows for the branch.What You Bring To The TablePost-secondary education.5-8+ years of insurance industry experience, with commercial lines experience.Minimum 3 years of management experience.Experience leading a sales team and achieving sales objectives.CIP, CRM, or CAIB designation preferred.Knowledge of Brokerage Management services and tools (Epic, etc.).Strong customer focus; understand internal and external customer needs; strong communication and people skills.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.Strong analytical and organizational skills.This position will fill an essential role in our team.Benefits and CompensationFlexible work arrangements.Multiple benefits to support physical and mental wellbeing, wellness account, and more.Share plan and other savings; BrokerLink matching on contributions.Group RRSP with company matching DPSP offerings for long-term security.Salary determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution, internal equity, and location; a majority of profiles may fall within the range, but candidates outside are encouraged to apply.Incentive plan: Annual bonus with 12% target based on base salary, up to 200% payout (subject to personal and company performance).Additional notes: We are an equal opportunity employer.
