You need…

  • A Positive & Friendly Attitude
  • Dependable, strong work ethic, high level of professional integrity
  • To be a Licenced Automotive Service Technician (2 years preferred). BMW dealership experience is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs/procedures and ofProvincial Safety Standards
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with computer systems and programs
  • A proven record for quality workmanship
  • Able to clearly communicate service, repair and technical issues

Specific job functions…

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency and quality workmanship
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
  • Perform warranty repairs in accordance with Mini's Policies and Procedures, including proper documentation, return of warranty parts, etc.…
  • Attend Mini and company training courses as required.
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins
  • Assists in training and supervising apprentice technician
  • Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.
  • Performing road tests using safe driving standards
  • Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
  • Maintain a safe, organized and neat work area
