Your Impact
- Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and implementation of large language models (LLMs) for Cerence's software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, product managers, and engineers, to define requirements and specifications for LLM-based features and functionalities.
- Develop and optimize algorithms and techniques for training and fine-tuning large language models, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Design and implement software components and modules to integrate LLM capabilities into Cerence's speech recognition and natural language understanding systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of LLM-based features to ensure high performance, reliability, and robustness in real-world automotive environments.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing (NLP) technologies, and contribute to research and innovation efforts within the company.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), deep learning architectures, and NLP techniques.
- Experience with training and fine-tuning large language models using large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
