Regional Operations Leader – Engineering & Built Environment Location: Ottawa We are representing a confidential client in the built-environment consulting sector seeking a Regional Operations Leader to oversee operations, technical delivery, and team performance across a multidisciplinary group. The Role This position leads the local office, ensuring strong project execution, quality standards, team development, and long-term business growth. What You’ll Do Operations & Performance Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient, high-quality project delivery Improve workflows, processes, and service performance Monitor financial targets and operational KPIs Leadership & People Build and mentor a talented team across technical and support roles Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews Promote a positive, accountable culture Strategy & Growth Develop short- and long-term business plans Identify opportunities for service expansion and market growth Work closely with corporate teams to align priorities Client & Technical Support Review technical work for quality and accuracy Support key client relationships and resolve project issues Represent the firm at local industry events when needed What You Bring Bachelor’s degree; engineering, architecture, or construction-related fields preferred 10+ years in the built-environment sector 5+ years of leadership experience in a consulting or technical services setting Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Proven ability to manage performance, people, and client expectations Why Consider This Role?
