Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports.
  • Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management.
  • Completion and submission of the monthly, quarterly and year end reporting of consolidation results and supporting schedules.
  • Compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual divisional forecasts and budgets.
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Preparation of annual Canadian Corporate tax filings.
  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.
  • Maintain the general ledger as needed.
  • Auditing, Financial Analysis and Financial reporting.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities that may be required by Management.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Completion or in the process of completing CPA designation required.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Corporate tax knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Analytical skills are considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet various internal and external deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
