E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Center as an Environmental Services staff member. Your role focuses on cleaning, disinfecting, and ensuring a safe environment, supporting patient care directly. The Arthur Child Cancer Centre in Canada is looking for diligent Environmental Services staff. In this position, you will handle detailed cleaning tasks in various hospital areas, including treatment rooms and operating rooms. You will be trained in cleaning protocols and the safe use of personal protective equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical areas
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment efficiently
• Manage waste removal and hazardous cleanup
• Restock supplies and assist in training new staff
• Report potential hazards safely and promptly
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and manage forces of up to 50 lbs
• Basic knowledge of computers and smartphones
• Must communicate in English effectively
