(TDMH) Medical Laboratory Technologist

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist position in the Laboratory Services Department.Primary location: Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.Duration: Approximately 18 months, or sooner, as determined by RRHS. Qualifications Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent. Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine. Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred. Demonstrated computer literacy (e.g., Cerner). Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to fulfill commitment of 12 hour shifts. Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi‑tasking skills. Possess solid technical skills for phlebotomy. Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety. Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Other Pertinent Conditions Salary per the Non‑Union Salary Schedule ($37.95 per hour to $51.75 per hour). Salary Salary: $37.95 - $51.75 per hour.
