The incumbent is responsible for the design, security, availability, performance, and scalability of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment. The Manager plays a key role in cloud strategy, infrastructure modernization, security, recovery, and network architecture, while leading and developing a technically skilled infrastructure team. This position contributes directly to the evolution and stability of the enterprise IT landscape as Mevotech transforms it’s technology landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Operations & ManagementLead and manage hybrid IT infrastructure, including on-premises systems and Microsoft Azure cloud environmentsEnsure high availability, performance, security, scalability, and reliability of all infrastructure platformsOversee incident, problem and change management processes aligned to ITIL best practicesAct as Subject Matter Expert for Azure architecture, cloud migrations, and infrastructure modernization initiativesIdentify, prototype process improvement opportunities within Infrastructure discipline with the application of proven Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutionsMaintains infrastructure life cycle planning, execute cloud and on-prem migrations, system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery activitiesOwn and manage backup, restore, and data protection strategies, ensuring compliance with recovery time objectives (RTO/RPO)Manage and test IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plansSupports strategic planning and roadmap development with the Director of InfrastructureParticipate in architecture reviews, and modernization initiativesServe as an escalation point for major incidents and stakeholder engagementManage vendors and service providers to ensure SLAs and performance commitments are metNetworking & SystemsDesign, deploy, and maintain enterprise network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, MPLS, routing, and Wi-FiTroubleshoot and support network hardware and systems, including firewalls (FortiGate preferred), routers, switches, access points, servers, and virtual machinesLeadership qualitiesLead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teamAssign work, monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluationsIdentify skills gaps and support training and certification developmentCollaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business needs, manage system access, and support technology initiativesIdeal QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with minimum 2 years in leadership rolesProven people leadership experience managing technically skilled infrastructure or cloud teamsExpert-level experience with Microsoft Azure, including hybrid cloud environmentsProven experience with Azure IaaS, networking, security, and identityWindows Server & Active DirectoryEnterprise networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, routing, firewalls)IP addressing, subnetting, NAT, Public and private network designDeep technical expertise in servers, virtualization, networking, storage, identity services, and monitoring toolsExperience in hybrid infrastructure environments (on‑prem and cloud)Experience with high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutionsExperience with automation, PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure-as-Code toolsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skillsNetworking & Security ExpertiseMPLS, OSPF, routing protocolsFirewall configuration and management (FortiGate preferred)Network monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshootingSecurity best practices in hybrid cloud and enterprise environmentsCertificationsPreferred certifications: ITIL, Azure AZ-104/AZ-305, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSPPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONSPrimarily office-based with standard working hours; may require additional hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent financial mattersOn site 4 days in officeAbility to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneouslyMinimal physical demands, primarily involving sitting, using a computer, and other office-related activitiesAccessibility AccommodationsMevotech provides accessibility accommodations during the recruitment process.
