Rental Associate Company: Whistler Blackcomb Location: Whistler, BC, Canada Job Summary: Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world‑class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available (Winter Seasonal 2025/2026) Starting Wage: $20/hr. No housing availability. Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until December 15th or until the positions are filled, whichever comes first. Employee Benefits Ski/Mountain Perks Free passes for employees, employee discounted lift tickets for friends and family AND free ski lessons More employee discounts on lodging, food, gear, and mountain shuttles 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program Excellent training and professional development Referral Program Job Responsibilities Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops Fit guests with equipment – we’ll train you Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options Work together with teammates to maintain safety standards May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends Commitment to exceptional Customer Service Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry Ability to stand and move in an active, team‑oriented environment for extended periods Must be able to communicate fluently in English Vail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
