Technology Architect – AWS & Cloud Infrastructure Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with expertise in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise application support. This role will focus on managing software deployments using Octopus, integrating with Azure DevOps, and ensuring smooth operation of Microsoft Azure PaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot custom software applications using Application Insights, support virtual machines, and manage deployments of large-scale datasets and applications for enterprise environments. Required Qualifications Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or Calgary, AB, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education will also be considered. At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Preferred Qualifications At least 3 years of architect experience in AWS cloud platform. Proficient knowledge in AWS Cloud, specifically Serverless web application development, Serverless backend APIs, Serverless batch processing (ECS, Fargate), RDS – Aurora/Postgresql, NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB), various security services and patterns, Terraform and CloudFormation. Hands‑on experience defining solution architecture and design – drafting design documents, templates, and standards; good understanding of the Well‑Architected Framework, cost optimization, cost estimation, TCO calculation, and monitoring of cost leakages. Hands‑on coding skills – NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular, containers, Terraform, database operations, and unit testing. DevOps experience – GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, XLRelease, CI/CD pipeline and reviews. Understanding of the client’s business problems and providing technology consulting to identify the best fit solution. Comprehensive ability to analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations and determine appropriate solutions. Strong track record of successfully architecting and deploying cloud solutions. Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels, from developers to CIOs and technical decision makers. Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Ownership of end‑to‑end solution and key decision‑maker driving overall solution. Ability to develop client‑centric solutions responsive to client needs and market trends. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, e‑mail, or face‑to‑face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs. Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in Ontario: $98,570 to $113,678.
