If you are excited to build your career in tax and explore the world of technology, apply now What You Will Do Prepare working paper files, tax provisions, corporate income tax returns, tax elections and information returns for corporate clients, including Global MNE’s Provide client support for CRA audits and inquiries, follow-up on Notice of Assessments and communicate with the CRA on various tax matters Perform tax research and analysis as part of the tax provision and tax compliance process on a wide variety of tax issues Collaborate with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners on client engagements and assist with tax planning strategies Maintain client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules Interact with clients and other KPMG team members to support engagement delivery Participate in product design discussions on tax processes and user testing of various tax technologies Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance tax delivery through technology What You Bring To The Role 1-2 years of experience in a public accounting firm Successful completion of the CFE and CPA designation obtained or in progress Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in the In-Depth Tax Course Strong written and verbal communication skills Effective collaboration and team engagement abilities Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment Capacity to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail Proactive approach to developing new skills through research and learning Our Values, The KPMG Way Integrity, we do what is right Excellence, we never stop learning and improving Courage, we think and act boldly Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences For Better, we do what matters KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier‑free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
