Let’s grow together Car Wash Technician Department: Facilities and Construction Location: GTA and Surrounding Areas, ON Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time THE ROLE We are currently hiring for a Car Wash Technician to join our Central Canada Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Car Wash Technician will maintain and repair car wash equipment. In this role you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and performing repairs, primarily on the car wash systems. What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain car wash equipment and POS systems. Perform preventive maintenance and general building repairs (doors, painting, decals). Maintain a safe, clean work environment and document maintenance activities. Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation. Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment. Ensures car wash operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Majority of time will be spent in the field. Will require some travel including overnight stay. What You’ll Need Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience 1+ year related experience. Knowledge And Skills Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver. English communication skills (verbal and written). Valid driver’s license. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Skilled with hand/power tools and measurement instruments. Welding experience preferred. Able to work independently. Physical Demands Sit up to 10 hours; kneel, crouch, crawl, climb. Lift up to 100+ lbs. Work indoors and outdoors, often in wet or humid conditions. Good color vision and depth perception required. Work Environment High noise levels and mixed lighting. Frequent exposure to moving parts, chemicals, and confined spaces. Work independently with minimal supervision. Note: Duties and requirements may change as business needs evolve.
