You’ll be part of a team that supports every corner of the healthcare experience - enhancing the well-being of patients, families, staff, and the wider community every day.As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will:Ensure all housekeeping is carried out in accordance with Sodexo and Client health and safety policies.Audit and provide monitoring for your team as well as support all training for their shiftsCoordinate activities of housekeeping employees engaged in cleaning within a very busy environment.Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees and guestsAssist in monitoring employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivityEnsure health and safety policies are followed and implemented.Perform daily inspection of rooms, common areas and general areas in the hospital.Perform day to day assignments in addition to lead dutiesWork with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and issue resolutionQualificationsWhat You BringPrevious supervisory experience requiredProven ability to provide quality audits and trainingMust have exceptional organizational skills1 or more years of related work experienceCompletion or current enrollment in OHHA or CHHA is preferredTDG, WHMIS Certification RequiredPersonal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanorEmbodies our value behaviors: Service Spirit, Team Spirit, and the Spirit of ProgressA team-first attitude and strong communication skillsPhysical ability to meet job demands (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods)Commitment to safety, respect, and inclusionAdditional InformationWhy Sodexo?Because we bring the best of everyday to healthcare spaces.
