We're about doing what's right and feeling good about it.ResponsibilitiesSettle or claims habitation, automobile, motorcycle, long haul trucking, commercial, warranty programs, etc.Determine/assess coverage of claimsConduct investigations: statements, establish loss, proceed with settlement, negotiate, etc.Determine subrogation potential and proceed accordinglyGuide and direct external vendors for effective investigation, control, and facilitation of claimsPrepare correspondence or file reportsProcess payments or denials in accordance with established authorityMaintain timely and accurate claim reserves on filesActively manage claims audit programQualificationsCollege certificatePersonal-lines Damage Insurance and Commercial-line Damage Insurance Claims Adjuster AMF permitMinimum 5 years of experienceCIP or FCIP designation or working towards it is an assetKnowledge of English at an intermediate level; proficiency in French is required for communication with customers, partners, and teams across CanadaStrong business writing skillsOur CommitmentWe are an equal opportunity employer, and we invite women, members of visible and ethnic minorities, Aboriginal people, and people with disabilities to apply.
