We are looking for an experienced Mine Supervisor. This position plays a critical leadership role in the safe and efficient execution of mine operations. Reporting to the Superintendent, this position is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring daily field activities to meet production targets while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role provides clear direction to crews, supports operational decision-making, and proactively identifies and resolves issues that may impact performance.Join our True Blue team todayEssential ResponsibilitiesUtilize manpower, equipment and materials safely and efficiently to maximize production and efficient cost management.Communicate, coordinate and plan daily work activity with management and other production supervisors.adhere to budget constraints and targetsResponsible for allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organization generallyEnsure personnel are trained in operation of equipment or tasks before performing workMaintain accurate data/records/documentation as required, including timesheets and cost accountingBasic understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Power PointInspect work areas daily to identify unsafe conditions and implements necessary correctionsLead by example and promote safety as a value and ensure compliance of others supervised with mine plans, company, site and provisional safety rules and regulationsConduct safety meetings for crewsQualifications3+ years of operations experience as a foreman, lead hand, or in a similar direct supervisory roleUnderstanding of current mining practices, construction documents, costs and budgetsAbility to plan and manage a project schedule, developing potential solutions for moderate situations within defined guidelinesAbility to communicate clearly, collaborating with multiple project stakeholders while building and managing a diverse teamBasic computer and iPad skills for working with applications to build Timesheets, Daily Reports, Quantity Tracking, Inventory, Cost CodingAdditional InformationThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
