Hospitalist | Full-Time | Brockville General Hospital – Thrive in the Thousand Islands Seeking 2 full-time Hospitalists at Brockville General Hospital (BGH). Join a collaborative team, provide comprehensive inpatient care, and enjoy competitive compensation. Responsibilities • Manage a daily patient caseload of 20–22 patients (up to 28 during surge) with core hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.• Rotate 7 days per month, including 2–3 on‑call nights from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next morning.• Respond to on‑call calls within 15 minutes; call rooms available for convenience.• Work with a multidisciplinary team, including an admissionist internist, two physician assistants (shared among three teams), and access to tertiary care centres in Kingston and Ottawa.• Teach medical learners and residents and mentor future leaders.• Offer exceptional patient care in a supportive environment that values empathy, respect, and professional growth. Qualifications • M.D. or equivalent, certified or eligible for certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or Internal Medicine (FRCPC).• Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is essential.• International physicians may contact Aspira Talent for licensure pathway support. Compensation & Incentives Estimated annual gross income: $320,000–$350,000. Guaranteed stipend: $1,800 per day for core hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.). Fee‑for‑service model for all services outside core hours. On‑call coverage (HOCC): $378 per weeknight and $756 per weekend day. Eligibility for the Canada Student Loan Forgiveness program. Interest‑free loan: $25,000 for a five‑year commitment. Relocation assistance: up to $12,000 for qualified candidates.
