Note: This positions will require the consultant to work from the office location 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days being worked remotely.

This role supports the Planview project management system for the Community Services I&IT Cluster (CSC)'s approximately 600 users.

Reporting To The Manager, Project Management Office, This Resource

  • Act as Local Administrator/Tier 1 Planview business support for all CSC and CSC ministry users;
  • Engage with CAC/Enterprise Planview and Project Management (EPPM) when issues require Tier 2 support;
  • Ensure administration of all users for every Planview module, including Resource, Request, Financial, Timesheet, and Work Management modules;
  • Provide ongoing training for all CSC users on the use of Planview, including training of newly onboarded staff as well as training on new Planview functionalities as they are rolled out to the Cluster over time;
  • Act as the Planview adoption leads for the Cluster, encouraging the adoption of best practices by all users;
  • Manage customized Planview workflows for projects, including development, customization and maintenance of Planview work breakdown structures (WBS) for different types of projects (e.g., development, releases, non-application) and different project methodologies (e.g., waterfall, Agile);
  • Liaise with CAC/ Enterprise Planview and Project Management (EPPM) for enterprise wide Planview software release strategy;
  • Represent CSC on the OPS-wide Planview technical working group; and
  • Represent CSC on an OPS-wide Planview reporting/analytics working group.
