Advanced Manufacturing Program - Professor (Part-Time) Introduction to Industry 4.0 60 Commerce Crescent, North Bay, ON P1A 0B4, Canada Job Description Posted Friday, November 7, 2025 at 5:00 a.m. Job Title: Professors (Part-Time) – Introduction to Industry 4.0 (AMD150) Department: School of Trades and Technology – Advanced Manufacturing Program Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON Contract Duration: January 12, 2026 – April 24, 2026 The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery (no remote or hybrid options) at the Commerce Court Campus: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Engineering Economics Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Advanced Manufacturing Proficiency in the pillars of Industry 4.0, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality, and Additive Manufacturing. Understanding of Cyber-Physical Systems and their role in smart factories Knowledge of automation, robotics, and real-time monitoring systems Familiarity with predictive maintenance using sensors and AI Expertise in connecting devices, sensors, and machines through IoT frameworks Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences Highly effective communication and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an asset Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an asset Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
