We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to support our corporate finance team whose core function is to manage comprehensive financial models, financial planning, valuations, and other strategic initiatives. Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person. Support the company’s annual business plans and quarterly updates which include consolidating and reviewing information across multiple business verticals. Having a thorough knowledge of the assumptions used to prepare budgets and forecasts and clearly articulating and documenting those assumptions; Manage the quarterly IFRS valuations across development and income-producing properties Prepare internal/external presentations and materials to senior management and the board for ad hoc analysis to support the business, quarterly board meetings, and external investor meetings Assist in the review and analysis of development, financing, acquisition, disposition and other portfolio activity for various asset classes; Creating financial models and reports to facilitate communication of financial and non-financial metrics with senior management; Proactively monitor business trends, identify risks and opportunities, provide scenario analysis to support business decisions Assisting senior management with special projects and new initiatives as required; What type of experience and skills do you have? We can cover the rest when we meet. 5+ years’ experience in a corporate finance or financial analysis related capacity, preferably in a real estate setting An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision Superior finance and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Argus is an asset Experience in strategic planning and contribution to overall corporate strategic planning, including budgeting A CPA, CFA or CBV designation (or pursuit thereof) is considered a plus Bachelor of Commerce, degree in accounting or related post-secondary degree Who are we? Join us and make a difference. Total Rewards @Dream This is a regular, full-time position with a base salary range of $110,000–$130,000. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible for a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes paid vacation and personal days, flexible benefits, mental health resources, access to perks and discounts, professional development support, and team-building and social events. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, total years of experience, industry experience, education, and professional designations. We recognize that exceptional talent doesn’t always fit neatly in to a bracket. Final compensation will be tailored to your specific experience, skills and the unique value you bring to the table.
