Develop performance test scripts, execute performance tests, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for improvement. Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for improvement to project stakeholders. Role Essentials BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree. 6+ years of experience in performance engineering and benchmarking for Java enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with load testing tools (like JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust). Hands-on experience with automated performance testing and scripting (Python, Shell). Hands-on experience in profiling application flows using profiling tools (like JProfiler, JFR) and debugging distributed applications (open tracing, Elastic APM, Jaeger). Experience with SQL and NoSQL database platforms (Oracle, MongoDB) and search engines (like Elastic Search). Hands-on experience with cloud-native microservices-based platforms, technologies, and stacks (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS). Experience conducting and interpreting performance/stress volumes to pinpoint bottlenecks in the system.
