System & Architecture Expert

Join to apply for the System & Architecture Expert role at Schneider Electric As a System & Architecture Expert, you will be the technical backbone of our sales organization, providing pre‑sales expertise and designing optimized automation and control architectures tailored to customer needs. You’ll work closely with end users, system integrators, and channel partners to deliver innovative solutions that differentiate us in the market. Design and optimize architectures for industrial automation systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and constraints. Provide technical pre‑sales support throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity to order. Collaborate with sales teams during customer visits, presentations, and proof‑of‑concept demos. Advise customers on advanced technical issues (feasibility, performance, limitations) and help define project specifications. Promote our solutions, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and differentiating elements in a clear, convincing way. Support System Integrators and channel partners with technical sales requests and project opportunities. Contribute to a global network of experts, sharing best practices and success stories. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Degree in Electrical/Control Engineering or a technical diploma in Industrial Automation. 5+ years of relevant experience in design and implementation of industrial automation solutions. Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial communication networks (Ethernet, fieldbuses). Knowledge of Schneider Electric Exosmart Plant solution & Modicon M580/M340 PLCs experience (asset). Commercial mindset with strong technical depth. Willingness to travel up to 30%. Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally. Let us learn about you Apply today.
