As an employee at ELITS you will become part of a great team that responds to the customer with humility and is proud of what we deliver.ELITS is now looking for an AI Engineer for our operations in Montreal.About this position: As a Mid-Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for turning AI and machine learning models into robust, scalable production solutions. Your expertise in model deployment, performance optimization, and workflow automation will help deliver critical insights and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists, MLOps engineers, and application teams to ensure solutions are reliable and high-performing in real-world scenarios. Key ResponsibilitiesProductionize machine learning models and deploy them at scale using best-practice engineering principles.Tune model and infrastructure performance for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.Build end-to-end automated pipelines for model serving, monitoring, and management.Collaborate with data scientists to transition prototypes to production, refactoring code as needed.Implement testing, validation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for ML workflows.Monitor deployed models, proactively address drift and performance issues, and execute retraining as required.Apply containerization, orchestration, and cloud MLOps tooling to manage models in production.Document processes, performance metrics, and system configurations for collaboration and reproducibility. RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.4+ years experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on production environments.Hands-on expertise with Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages.Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Expertise in pipeline automation, CI/CD for ML, and model performance monitoring.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and workflow orchestration.Proven track record of optimizing deployed AI systems for real-world applications.Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills. PreferredExperience transitioning models from R&D to production in enterprise settings.Prior exposure to MLOps tools (MLflow, Seldon, Kubeflow, Airflow).Contributions to open-source or published work in AI/ML engineering.
