Are you a driven, entrepreneurial-minded individual looking to build a career in wealth management? This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a full-fledged Investment Advisor, with mentorship and hands-on experience along the way.


About the Role


As an Investment Advisor Assistant, you will work closely with a senior investment advisor, gaining firsthand experience in wealth management while focusing on business development, client acquisition, and learning the industry. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to develop the skills necessary to build and manage a successful advisory practice.

Once you have demonstrated the ability to manage client relationships and implement strategies independently, you will have the option to transition into a fully licensed Investment Advisor role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Business Development & Prospecting – Identify and connect with potential clients, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Client Support & Relationship Building – Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Financial Research & Market Analysis – Stay informed about financial markets, investment products, and economic trends to support client recommendations.
  • Cold Calling & Client Identification – Proactively reach out to potential clients, understand their financial needs, and determine the best way to serve them. Develop strategies to find and engage your ideal clientele.
  • Learning & Professional Growth – Work directly with a senior investment advisor, gaining mentorship and practical training in portfolio management, financial planning, and client relationship management.


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) (or currently in progress).
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for business development and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sales or client-facing experience is an asset but not required.

À propos du poste


En tant qu’Assistant(e) Conseiller(ère) en Placement, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec un conseiller principal en placement, acquérant ainsi une expérience directe en gestion de patrimoine tout en vous concentrant sur le développement des affaires, l’acquisition de clients et l’apprentissage du secteur.

Ce rôle est idéal pour une personne autonome et motivée, désireuse d’acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour bâtir et gérer une pratique de conseil prospère.

Une fois que vous aurez démontré votre capacité à gérer les relations clients et à mettre en œuvre des stratégies de manière autonome, vous aurez la possibilité de devenir un(e) Conseiller(ère) en Placement agréé(e).


Responsabilités principales


  • Développement des affaires & Prospection – Identifier et établir des liens avec des clients potentiels, développer des relations et générer de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires.
  • Soutien aux clients & Gestion des relations – Contribuer au maintien et au renforcement des relations avec les clients existants.
  • Recherche financière & Analyse de marché – Se tenir informé(e) des marchés financiers, des produits d’investissement et des tendances économiques afin de soutenir les recommandations aux clients.
  • Appels à froid & Identification des clients – Contacter de manière proactive des clients potentiels, comprendre leurs besoins financiers et déterminer la meilleure façon de les accompagner. Développer des stratégies pour trouver et engager votre clientèle cible.
  • Apprentissage & Développement professionnel – Travailler directement avec un conseiller principal en placement, bénéficiant d’un mentorat et d’une formation pratique en gestion de portefeuille, planification financière et gestion de la relation client.


Qualifications & Exigences


  • Réussite du Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières (CSC) et du Manuel sur les pratiques et la conduite (CPH) (ou en cours de réalisation).
  • Esprit entrepreneurial fort, avec une passion pour le développement des affaires et la gestion des relations clients.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
  • Motivation élevée, discipline et capacité à travailler de manière autonome.
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles et en résolution de problèmes.
  • Une expérience en vente ou en relation client est un atout, mais n'est pas obligatoire.
