We embrace flexible work models and a people-first culture where your contributions are recognized and your impact is felt.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for a senior frontend developer who thrives on building user-centric, accessible web applications in a security-sensitive environment. As a key contributor to our product team, you’ll take ownership of the frontend experience across both our Angular-based admin/user portals and our minimalist, JavaScript-light IDP built with Askama templates.This role combines deep frontend engineering with an appreciation for design detail, performance, and compatibility in constrained client environments. You’ll work closely with our backend team, participate in architectural discussions, and help define best practices across a growing codebase.Develop and maintain complex Angular applications with a focus on security, performance, and scalabilityBuild responsive, accessible UI components using Angular for primary applications, and minimalist HTML templates (via Askama) for our IDP operating in JavaScript limited environments.Collaborate with our backend team to integrate REST API endpointsChampion and implement front-end development best practices and coding standardsProvide technical mentorship and support to peers, and help shape best practices across the frontend teamParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsParticipate in technical planning sessions and architecture discussionsDocument technical specifications and development processesCollaborate with stakeholders to create and implement user-friendly interface designsTake ownership of application performance metrics, security measures, and technical debt managementEnsure consistent UI/UX patterns and responsive design across the applicationImplement accessible, intuitive user experiences that meet enterprise security needsFirm Requirements8+ years of professional frontend software development experienceStrong proficiency in Angular 20 and TypeScriptExperience with Material UI (MUI) component libraryExpert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience working with REST APIsSolid understanding of web security principlesVersion control systems (Git)Enthusiasm and experience in writing well-tested codeNice to haves:Testing experience Jest, Cypress, CucumberInterest in or experience with RustKnowledge of SAML, OAuth and OIDC protocolsExperience with enterprise-level applicationsUnderstanding of CI/CD practicesFamiliarity with secure coding practices and awareness of the OWASP Top 10.Experience working in performance or compatibility-constrained environments (e.g., embedded browsers, JavaScript-restricted clients)Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with designers to translate wireframes into polished, accessible interfacesWhat You’ll Love About UsAt Lastwall, we value your time, perspective, and contributions.
