Design PLC and HMI systems as a Junior Controls Engineer with Accenture Construct, working office-based with some in-person collaboration. Apply AutoCAD, EPLAN, and industrial automation skills to complete systems.
This junior-level position supports Accenture Construct’s capital projects across data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories, and infrastructure. You will develop electrical schematics, program controls, and commission systems. The work includes code debugging, machine validation, and technical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics and layout drawings using AutoCAD or EPLAN
- Create, program, and commission industrial controls systems
- Develop, install, debug, and commission PLC and HMI code
- Coordinate machine debug, power-up, and validation with teams
- Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of related experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Basic AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with PLC/DCS and industrial automation preferred
- Ability to read engineering and technical drawings
