This role focuses on high-precision design, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with production teams to ensure quality, functionality, and manufacturability.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop precision plastic and sheet‑metal components for miniature, injection‑molded products using Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)Create and document inspection criteria for components and materialsParticipate in engineering problem‑solving throughout development, tooling, and molding stagesConduct hands‑on prototyping and testing from concept to mass productionInspect parts for compliance with design intent and quality standardsCollaborate with tool and molding suppliers during fabrication and commissioningSupport production and Quality Assurance by analyzing and resolving mechanical and assembly‑related issuesMore about youDegree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical TechnologyAt least 8 years of experience in mechanical component and assembly design, ideally involving miniature or thin‑wall plastic components for injection moldingStrong hands‑on background in DFM, DFA, and tolerance analysisProficiency with Creo/ProE (including advanced surfacing) and PDM/WindchillFamiliarity with machining, mold tooling, injection molding, and assembly processesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams; English required, German or Spanish an assetDon't meet all the criteria?
