You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results. Additional Required Qualifications: Experience performing macroscopic and microscopic urinalysis testing. Strong Phlebotomy skills. Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills are required. Excellent public relations and a service-oriented manner are essential. Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with patients/clients, families, staff, interdisciplinary team members and personnel from other departments in a fast-paced and changing environment. Proven analytic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, logical/methodical work habits, and demonstrated ability to work independently are required. Candidate must be well organized and flexible. Must be able to represent Laboratory Medicine in a respectful, professional and courteous manner. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the past two years: Epic/Connect Care LIS experience and knowledge. Medical Terminology. Experience in Healthcare (hospital) setting.
