He will study trends to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues.Role and responsibilitiesEnsure supply of materials based on customer requirements at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.Early engagement of procurement and suppliers in the product development/manufacturing process as well as monitoring current products in order to minimize the overall costs.Develop and execute cost reduction strategies working closely with Strategic Sourcing Manager.Ensure a continuous flow of new suppliers for the commodity.Ensure periodic business reviews with the key suppliers.Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure deadlines are met.Draft proposals to manage contracts and negotiations.Liaise with suppliers to ensure that the supply chain is stable as possible.Evaluating market conditions to mitigate risk, maintain optimal inventory levels, and control costs.Drive supplier performance, contract effectiveness, collaboration, and integration.Develop and solicit RFP, analyze submissions, form recommendations for review with Program Management Team.All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.Knowledge and Skill RequirementsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and supplier development.You have a growth mindset, with a passion for learning.You are organized, technically savvy, with a knack for generating solutions.Understanding of contract language.Experience in sourcing parts for product development.Understanding of basic inventory management concepts.Knowledge of logistics (Incoterms, transport modes, transport times).Master the French and English language (suppliers/customers in the United States).All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as neededKey Performance Indicators:Willingness to learn.Excellent organizational skills.Detail orientation to achieve a high degree of accuracy of technical information.Team player (collaborative and encouraging).This job description has been written using masculine pronouns for simplicity, but the position is open to individuals of all genders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
