About the Role This is a Hybrid role based out of our Vancouver, BC office. The Assistant, Insurance and Enterprise Risk, will be responsible for applying their organizational and Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance knowledge to understand contracts, written correspondence, and insurance policies. As a key member, you’ll provide administrative support to the global risk management team. You’ll be a team player in preparing the insurance applications and underwriting data, gathering and verifying data on risk exposures under supervision, and performing any administrative tasks to support the overall global risk management team. In this role, you will Manage and issue certificates of insurance (issue, train new users, manage user lists, renewal lists, training documents, email blast post renewal regarding changes to templates, provide guidance and assistance to global offices and brokers) Manage insurance inboxes – responding to insurance requests and reporting claims Oversee underwriting schedules – adding/deleting locations, updating and troubleshooting questions with stakeholders Update the Colliers Hub (company intranet) with page updates and internal team guidelines set up & updates Process invoices – submit and administer insurance program, claims invoices and expense invoices File and document renewal info, binders, policies, invoices Prepare and track insurance documents (insurance visual, comprehensive summary, credit renewal project, Coupa renewal invoices & coding) Manage claims records – data entry and research in our Risk Management System What You Bring 1+ years’ relevant experience in the areas of commercial property and casualty insurance or equivalent post‑secondary education Advanced knowledge of Adobe Pro and MS Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint Possess the ability to comprehend insurance policies and Certificates of Insurance Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or working towards one Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills Area/Location: Vancouver, BC Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $51,000 to $70,000 Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
