Our store teams are the heart of our mission, making sure every customer has a great experience and finds the products they need at the right price.Job TitleStore Associate, Softgoods (Part-Time)About This RoleThis posting represents a current opportunity at Giant Tiger.What You’ll Be DoingEnsuring a high level of customer serviceAccurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs)Replenish merchandise around the checkout areaFollowing up on hot selling items and completing markdowns and SKU changes when neededMaintaining planograms, labels, tickets and signing standardsPerforming cycle counts as requiredEnsuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and LotteryEnsuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followedEnsuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organizedEnsuring Loss prevention best practices are followedWhat You’ll BringStrong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skillsWhen You’ll WorkA typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.
