We are looking for a Project Planner - Risk Specialist

We are currently collaborating with a company to find a Project Planner - Risk Specialist to join our team at either the Bruce Power Nuclear site or the Bruce Power off-site office. The Project Planner will play a key role in providing Project Management support at the project, program, or division level. It will be their responsibility to ensure that the projects/programs they are assigned to adhere to approved processes, tools, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  1. Take a lead role in the preparation and maintenance of planning and control/cost engineering functions.
  2. Prepare or assist with estimates, review variance, and sanction support documentation.
  3. Facilitate Work Breakdown Structure development meetings.
  4. Establish major project/program milestones and provide coordination and consulting services.
  5. Develop and maintain the baseline program budget for the life of the program.
  6. Produce cost, schedule, and resource reports and graphics for staffing plans and resource planning decisions.
  7. Conduct periodic sensitivity analysis for the overall program.
  8. Prepare project/program summary reports indicating status on scope, schedule, cost, and concerns.
  9. Ensure planning and control documentation is consistent with sound engineering, economic, and Project Management principles.
Experience:

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-year diploma/degree in business management/engineering/technology
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project risk, an RMP designation is an asset
- Previous Nuclear experience is an asset
- Security clearance is an asset
- Understanding or experience with mechanical or electrical components or design is an asset
