Overview Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and community-focused Christian organization in Winnipeg to support their search for a Director of Outreach & Communications. You bring cultural humility and sensitivity, along with a strong alignment with the values and mission of a Christian faith-based organization. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Outreach & Communications will lead the development and execution of communication strategies across all platforms, ensuring that messaging reflects the organization’s mission, values, and vision. Responsibilities Develop and lead the organization’s overall communications strategy, ensuring alignment with mission and values Oversee all internal and external communications, including media relations, digital platforms, newsletters, publications, and campaigns Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels Partner with leadership to craft clear, engaging messages for stakeholders, donors, staff, and the broader community Lead crisis communication planning and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership Build and maintain positive relationships with media, community leaders, and partner organizations Guide and mentor a team of communications staff and/or volunteers, fostering excellence in storytelling, digital engagement, and design Monitor trends and best practices in communications to continually enhance impact and reach Requirements 7+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans for diverse audiences Strong writing, editing, and public speaking skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compellingly Experience managing digital platforms, social media, and content creation tools Familiarity with non-profit or faith-based organizations and an understanding of mission-driven communications Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills Cultural humility and sensitivity, with the ability to engage across diverse communities Rewards Salary in the $80,000-100,000 range depending on experience Opportunity to lead and shape the communications function of a purpose-driven Christian organization Supportive and collaborative workplace culture with a strong sense of mission Long-term growth potential within organizational leadership To Apply If you are interested in this opportunity, please forward your resume (in Word format) directly to Daniela Herrera, Recruitment Coordinator, People & Culture at daniela@lambertnemec.com, referencing Director of Outreach & Communications in the subject line of your email.
